Bamboo Flooring by Mr. Bamboo – Environmentally Friendly, Unique and Beautiful

     Bamboo flooring is an eco-friendly choice for your home, office, or business. Bamboo, being classified as a grass, consists of a large amount of fiber. This means that Mr Bamboo products are more dense than the average hardwood, and doesn't shrink or swell like wood does. Bamboo doesn't absorb as much moisture as a hardwood, and supplies of bamboo quickly renew themselves every 6 years. This makes bamboo an excellent green building product.

     Bamboo flooring by Mr. Bamboo is made from the "Moso" species of bamboo, which grows very large, and durable. Please note that this type of bamboo is not eaten by Pandas! Once the bamboo is harvested and broken down into fibrous strands, it is then mixed together with an eco-friendly glue and compressed at high pressures. This process creates a material that is almost twice as hard as normal bamboo. Because this material is so hard and dense, it wears much better than a hardwood floor will.
